Borrowing From the Classics

Don’t you just love the classics?  We here at SHIIZMII certainly do. Our fashion careers are pretty much based on them; you can almost say they are our eyes to the soul of fashion.  When starting something new or maybe even studying something foreign to you, most of the time you refer back to its origination. Same thing applies to the fashion industry. With that being said we would like to pay homage, salute and show our gratitude by Borrowing from the Classics while adding a SHIIZMII twist.

First up from the fashion gods would be the LBD or the Little Black Dress. As always we at SHIIZMII like to keep it as personal as possible so I will show you how I added my own little twist to the LBD. 

In the first frame you can see the entire visual. Next frame would be the ring I added, I love color and this colorful ring added exactly what I needed. As you can see I coordinated my nail color with my shoes. I didn’t need much jewelry. Blue is my favorite color so the accessories I chose were all in the blue family including my eye makeup.

Your mother’s pearls have certainly come a long way from those “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” days. It is now okay to wear them on an everyday basis instead of only pulling them out for special occasions. Pictured below are some of our favorite celebs rocking those classic pearls with their own little twist.

Last but certainly not least we have the classic pump. Pumps pretty much go with everything and you can pretty much wear them everywhere. Shoes at SHIIZMII are our favorite and we love getting dressed starting from the bottom up. Below you will find some styles of pumps with an edgy twist, remember ladies don’t be afraid to “WOW” them with your footwork! .
