SHIIZMII is proud to announce that WE ARE EXPANDING!!! For some time now we have been getting requests from the fellas about carrying a men’s collection. Well, we listened and did just that. Introducing: HE by SHI for the sleek/savvy, the jet setter, the debonair and the all around gentlemen.  Here at SHIIZMII we love to shop not just for ourselves but for others too, hence that we are both wardrobe stylist. The collections that we have chosen to carry at HE by SHI are a direct reflection of myself and ToniMarie. Not to toot our own horns or anything but we have pretty much nailed it with this one.  We really in truly LOVE WHAT WE DO, you may get tired of hearing it but we will NEVER get tired of saying or doing it. SHIIZMII Gets You Summer Wardrobe Ready

Fashion Forecast Swimsuit Edition

As we all can gather summer is rapidly approaching!! To some of us this is our favorite part of the year as for the rest of us we dread this time of the year. Yes, we are talking about swim suit season ladies and gents. Attention ladies: we are not the only ones who struggle with the way our body looks when this time of the year comes around. Believe it or not our men struggle with their beach bods as well. We are here to inform you that if you didn’t get that beach bod in time it is okay we have some solutions for you.
Sticking with common courtesy we are starting with the ladies first.

Body Type: Ladies

Top Heavy: Halter and bra style bikini’s help with support. To avoid any accidents we would recommend staying away from bandeau (strapless) style tops and tops with minimal coverage.

Bottom Heavy: High cut bottoms add length to your legs, mini skirt bottoms and one piece suits that bring the eye up instead of focusing on the bottom half will always give you a slimmer appeal. You will want to avoid boy shorts, ruffles and anything else that will draw attention to your bottom half.

Short Legs and Torso: To create a longer look you will want to look for a suit that’s either a high cut bottom or a deep-v top. You will want to avoid horizontal stripes, they bring the eye across which will make you appear shorter. Vertical stripes are a plus!

Men’s Styles:

Board shorts: Look best on taller men. Long and too big fitting clothing will always make a many look shorter.

Drawstring Boxers: Look best on average to husky built man. I do not recommend elastic waistband boxers. They have a tendency to ride up and if there is any tummy bulge present the spandex in the waist band will fold over.

Speedos: These are definitely made for the men who don’t mind baring it all! However, these look best on men who are in great shape.

Fashion Tip:
Keep in mind that one size does not fit all, measure yourself every year before you make that purchase.

Borrowing From the Classics

Don’t you just love the classics?  We here at SHIIZMII certainly do. Our fashion careers are pretty much based on them; you can almost say they are our eyes to the soul of fashion.  When starting something new or maybe even studying something foreign to you, most of the time you refer back to its origination. Same thing applies to the fashion industry. With that being said we would like to pay homage, salute and show our gratitude by Borrowing from the Classics while adding a SHIIZMII twist.

First up from the fashion gods would be the LBD or the Little Black Dress. As always we at SHIIZMII like to keep it as personal as possible so I will show you how I added my own little twist to the LBD. 

In the first frame you can see the entire visual. Next frame would be the ring I added, I love color and this colorful ring added exactly what I needed. As you can see I coordinated my nail color with my shoes. I didn’t need much jewelry. Blue is my favorite color so the accessories I chose were all in the blue family including my eye makeup.

Your mother’s pearls have certainly come a long way from those “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” days. It is now okay to wear them on an everyday basis instead of only pulling them out for special occasions. Pictured below are some of our favorite celebs rocking those classic pearls with their own little twist.

Last but certainly not least we have the classic pump. Pumps pretty much go with everything and you can pretty much wear them everywhere. Shoes at SHIIZMII are our favorite and we love getting dressed starting from the bottom up. Below you will find some styles of pumps with an edgy twist, remember ladies don’t be afraid to “WOW” them with your footwork! .

A trend is something I know I don't follow. I create my own visions or mix my own style with the "trend". SHIIZMII is about giving you foundation pieces that gives you the ability to create your own you. SHIIZMII is a business, a staple whose motto is very simple. We are here to bridge the gap between the female being by bringing each other closer with Fashion. SHI- the girl who you admire but you hate because of selfish reasons IZ - everything your destined to be ME- if I recognize my talents and gifts, I can lift her up and we can build to become stronger individuals because in the end SHIIZMII (she-is-me).

According to the definition of love it is the passionate affection or desire you have for a parent, child or friend. That same feeling that I share for my parents, children and friends is the same exact feeling that I have for fashion and SHIIZMII (SHE~IS~ME). Since I don’t have children of my own SHIIZMII is my baby that I want to grow and nurture into a thriving success. SHIIZMII’s foundation was not only started for our love for fashion but built upon the empowerment and the betterment of women as a whole. To start it off wii would like to share with you where our heels have taken us.

My heels have traveled many pavements nationally and internationally within in the last few years. I have discovered love, life, my passion and my purpose in some of my favorite pairs of heels. When getting dressed for any occasion I consider my shoes to be the foundation and will set the tone for whatever garments I chose to compliment them. To sum it all up I love heels and I am a firm believer in these two quotes:

“Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.” -Marilyn Monroe,

“The higher the heels the closer to God.” -Unknown.

My heels have taken me from a place I call my first love, to an unseen land to explore the world alone.... Well and of course my heels came along too! Heels are what I like to call “transformation piece” they can bring life to a dead outfit, color to a dull moment and always spice up a party. Most people like to choose garments first then select the shoes but me, myself I like to “build up” start from the ground up, it’s like building a new house. You have to lay the key foundation first then create around and on top of it. I love heels, there a girls best friend second to diamonds plus it gives you power!
